Winterhawk

In 1840, seeking a cure for the smallpox deciminating his tribe, legendary Blackfoot chief Winterhawk, is ambushed by Gates and Scoby, who kill his braves. In retaliation he kidnaps Clayanna Finley and her little brother, Cotton, who come to respect and admire him on the long trek to the Canadian wilderness. When Guthrie, who is leading the search party, learns that Gates and Scoby also raped and murdered his wife, Pale Flower, the stage is set for a dramatic conclusion.
