Truth with Stretch Marks

This book is an assortment of humor stories that has only gotten better with age. Some may ask if they are even true. If allowances are made or a tad bit of stretchn', the answer will always be "of course they are..." Almost every perceived calamity can have a twist of humor, if the time is just taken to look for it. Weather it be some half crazed chicken grabbin' hold of a Dad's south of the border regions in an outhouse or a brother accidently snaggin' some fat woman's full flowing bereavement dress with an umbrella at a funeral, can all be funny once getting past the initial emotional trauma of the event. Ben grew up and has grown old in the farming communities surrounding Lamar, Missouri. He was brought up poor and is grateful to have maintained that finacial status. He has lived in a house with no indoor facilities, attended a one room school house, been run over by cows before "Mad Cow" was determined to be a disease and has spent sixteen hour long days behind a tractor just thinking about nothing else except the funny side of life. By revealing his own comical perils of life, it is hoped reader's memories will be jogged of similar amusing events of their own lifetime. As the saying goes, "We'll look back on this and laugh one of these days," ... well this is one of those days.
