Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm (Dover Children's Evergreen Classics)

If the Randall family's life at Sunnybrook Farm seemed to be constant pandemonium, you could be sure that Rebecca Randall and her six brothers and sisters were usually to blame. When her two unmarried aunts, Miranda and Jane, kindly agree to take their poor relation off her mother’s tired hands, Rebecca finds her new life stifling. But not for long. With a talent for mischief and a zest for living, the lively youngster manages to confound her aunts, who are determined to turn the irrepressible and opinionated little girl into a proper young lady. Their efforts are rewarded, but not before Rebecca nearly turns the quiet little town of Riverboro topsy-turvy. Delightful reading for pre-teens, this engaging story is also sure to bring back pleasant memories to Rebecca's older fans.
