This is the story of my grandfather's life in Hazard, Kentucky to Connersville, Indiana. My grandfather was born and raised in Hazard, Kentucky, My story tells how he helped the entire town during the depression and then went on to serve his country during WWII After WWII the new journey he takes when he moved his family North to Indiana after WWII He walks the Appalachian and Jenny Wiley Trails after retirement. He researches one of his favorite Presidents, Lincoln and finds a mystery of one of his cabinet members, who after he was buried no one could find him, and he receives permission from he town and family to excavate where they think the body of President Lincoln's former cabinet member is, and the body wasn't there. His collection of another favorite President and collection of Truman books, and the three paintings he had painted of Truman. He received an invitation to tour the White House in the Reagan Era, he was honored in Washington for 50 years of membership to the Masons. He's a 60 year Masonic Member I have CD's of pictures and more stories that relate to the book can be purchased separately.
