I just want to be able to say yes to Jesus, no matter what. Without being a diva. I don’t know about you, but I’m the type of person who loves to be comfortable. It’s evident in the clothes I wear, the people I surround myself with, and even in the way I make many of my decisions. But I also love Jesus, and I can honestly say I want to love him more. Here’s what I’ve learned, though: following Jesus isn’t always comfortable—it rarely is, in fact. So what happens when the things we love contradict one another? One of those things will ultimately come out on top; we can’t say “yes” to both. These pages hold stories from my journey of choosing to say yes to Jesus rather than my own comfort.
