Got Grit? Lesson Guide

Grit is a topic that young people relate to. Focusing on this topic is highly motivational for children and adolescents and it helps them to take pride in themselves and their work. Grit consists of courage, backbone, resolve and other strength of character. Young people will benefit by exploring the meaning of grit and its many applications to their day-to-day lives. When they have more grit, they will be able to face greater challenges in and out of school and overcome them. This guide provides 24 lessons with activities and reproducibles that include discussions, scenarios, stories, checklists and questionnaires.
