Everyone loves dinosaurs. No person has ever seen a dinosaur—but everyone seems to find them fascinating, mysterious and awe-inspiring. For one thing, many of them were enormous, some with thighbones as long as a tall man. How did such gigantic creatures move around, breed and find enough to eat? Were they really as fierce as the reconstructions show them with terrible teeth, long horns, thumb-spikes and razor-sharp claws? And yet some dinosaurs were no bigger than a chicken.
