From School Library Journal
PreSchool-K-This word book follows two animal friends as they wake up, start their day, and head off to nursery school. Each page features a short sentence or two and a few related pictures of labeled objects outlined in black. The bright, simple illustrations against vividly colored backgrounds work well with the basic concepts and vocabulary introduced. Open-ended questions like "Is there a hat for everyone?" and "Where would you like to play next?" offer some expanded opportunities for discussion. The brief text and uncluttered format make this a book to be shared with toddlers or to be used with beginning readers. A note to parents offers additional suggestions for usage and some games to play.
